Summer is approaching fast, and we will be studying different animal life cycles during this time of year. We will start our studies recapping the Parts of a Bird and review our studies of insects. We will then progress into our study of the life cycle of a butterfly. This metamorphosis is an amazing part of nature and we can’t wait to explore it in our classroom! We will also learn about animals that are classified as mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. There are so many wonderful creatures to learn about in our world. We hope that our studies of these creatures will give your child an appreciation for animal life and enthusiasm to learn.
In addition to all of our fun animal activities, we will also review grace and courtesy to help prepare us for summer away from school! We will also be creating a special Mother’s Day gift in honor of Mother’s Day.
Thank you for everything you have done for us this year. This year would not have been a success without your constant support, generous giving, and enthusiasm for your child’s growth in the classroom. We are so pleased with how things have turned out this year, and we are looking forward to ending this year with a bang!
